St John the Baptist Chapel

This Chapel, at the head of the south aisle, is dominated by Goodhart-Rendel’s gothic re-revival domed tabernacle with its statue of St John.

The different style of the stone base of the tabernacle echoes the sharp modernistic angles of Goodhart-Rendel's contemporary Hays Wharf Building.
